"Extension and internal reconfiguration
We have had an extension and complete reconfiguration of our ground floor space to include a completely new utility, shower room and large kitchen/dining/living area with newly fitted kitchen. Brickwood have done a brilliant job for us. They did exactly what they said they would to a very high standard of workmanship. They kept us in the loop at all times. Their workforce are very personable, always respectful that they were working in our home. The directors - Ben and Chas - are extremely approachable, solution-focused and hard-working. They weren’t phased by any of the unforeseen issues or COVID related supply difficulties. They always found a way forward. They made sure that all the relevant structural engineering and building regulations certificates were obtained. I cannot recommend Brickwood highly enough. It feels as though we have a ‘new house’."

"Our works involved a complete remodelling of the downstairs, new windows and doors, a new shower room, bathroom and kitchen, new electrics and heating, creating bespoke wardrobes and drawers in the bedrooms, and a total redecoration. Brickwood were a pleasure to work with throughout. They were positive and upbeat, looking for solutions rather than problems even during the challenges of lockdown. There quality of their work was excellent, and they were always fair and reasonable about the scope and pricing of extras. We have no hesitation in recommending them."

"I don`t usually leave 5 stars when giving a review. I always feel that the job can never be classed as 'perfect'. So it`s an indication of how I feel about the job Brickwood have just completed when I say that I would give them 6 stars! The job, I should mention, was not a loft conversion in the end. It was actually a bigger job being 2 quite large extensions on my bungalow. From the day they arrived their approach was thoroughly professional but totally helpful. The team were a great bunch of guys who were hard working, friendly and seemed to have the attitude that it was their own property they were working on, so keen they were to do a good job. As the work progressed and we discussed modifications to the original plans there were suggestions but no pressure as to what I wanted doing. They clearly had the customer`s interests as priority. I could sit here typing further about how pleased I have been with the way they worked, the advice I was given and the way that friends have raved about the completed job but suffice it to say that I couldn`t be happier with the finished job and the fact that I (and, by the sound of it, all my neighbours), will certainly use Brickwood for any building job I have done in the future sums up my 101% recommendation for Brickwood."
